How Do I Bulk Connect Products in Doba?
If you are setting up many products at once, bulk connection is the faster alternative to adding every connection one by one.
Quick answer: Go to My Products > Connection, choose Import Connections, download Doba's Excel template, fill in the required columns, and upload it to create product connections in batches.
When should you use bulk connection?Use the bulk workflow when:
- you are onboarding many store products at one time
- you already have connection data ready in a spreadsheet
- manual one-by-one connection would take too long
If you only need to connect one item, the regular connection workflow is usually simpler.
How to bulk connect products in Doba1. Open the Connection page
In Doba, go to My Products, then open Connection from the left-side menu.
2. Choose Import Connections
On the Connection page, click Import Connections.
3. Download the Excel template
In the pop-up window, choose Download Excel Template.
4. Fill in the required columns
Doba's Help Center says to complete these fields in the template:
- Platform
- Store Name
- Store SKU
- Store Product Name
- Doba Item Number
5. Upload the completed file
After the template is complete, use the import workflow to upload it and bind the connections in batches.
What to check before uploadingBefore you import the spreadsheet, confirm that:
- each store SKU matches the item already listed in your store
- each Doba item number matches the intended catalog product
- the platform and store names are entered consistently
Bulk connection saves time, but it also makes mistakes scale faster if the spreadsheet is wrong.
When bulk connection is better than manual connectionBulk connection is usually the better choice when you are moving from initial setup into a larger catalog workflow.
Manual connection is better when:
- you are troubleshooting one item
- you want to verify a single connection first
- you are still learning the connection process
After the import runs, review the connection list to confirm the products were bound correctly before moving on to order or sync-dependent workflows.
Why this step mattersBulk connection is one of the fastest ways to reduce setup friction during onboarding. It helps sellers move from scattered store listings to a cleaner Doba connection structure that is easier to manage at scale.
