How Do I Connect a Product in Doba?
If you already exported a product to your selling site, Doba may need a product connection so it can tie the store listing to the correct Doba item for automation.
Quick answer: Log into Doba, in the dropdown under your name and retailer ID, click on My Doba, click on My Products and Connection, choose Add Sourcing Connection, enter the platform, store, SKU, product name, and Doba item number, then run Check and confirm the connection.
What is a product connection?
A product connection is the setup step that links your store listing to the matching Doba catalog item.
This matters because Doba explains that the connection supports automation for things like:
- orders
- quantity updates
- price-related workflows
This step comes after you have exported the product to your selling site.
If a listing exists on your store but is not tied to the right Doba item, the connection process is how you match it correctly.
How to connect a product in Doba
1. Open the Connection page
Go to the Connection tab in Doba.
2. Choose Add Sourcing Connection
Click Add Sourcing Connection to create a new match between your store listing and a Doba item.
3. Enter the required details
Doba's FAQ says to fill in:
- Platform
- Store
- Store SKU
- Product Name
- Item Number
4. Click Check
Use Check so Doba can verify the item number against the catalog and pull up the matching product.
5. Review shipping setup
The FAQ notes that you will need to select a shipping method. It also says you can use your own ZIP code or Doba's general ZIP code: 66952.
6. Confirm the connection
If the information looks correct, click Add Now to finish the setup.
What should happen next?After the connection is added, Doba should return you to the connections area and show the item in your connection list.
What to check: The connection should appear in the list so you can review it, edit it, delete it, or add more.
If the connection does not workStart by checking:
- the store SKU matches the listing on your selling channel
- the product name and item number match the intended Doba item
- the shipping selection is correct
